New to the Tulsa area, Clyde Hill is a Class A, PGA Member for 27 years. Clyde first began playing golf in 1982 at the age of 18, and felt an immediate connection for the game. As a result of his passion for golf, he chose to make it his career and turned professional in April of 1991. His first position was as an assistant professional at Jeffersonville Elks Golf Club in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He then worked for Fuzzy Zoeller upon the opening of Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Indiana for three years before eventually landing a position at Lindsey Golf Course at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Over Clyde’s twenty years at Fort Knox, he touched the lives of countless Soldiers, retirees, families and local communities in general through lessons, clinics, outings and more. Clyde has been actively involved in the Louisville Kentucky, First Tee Program, Kentucky State Special Olympics and the Kentucky PGA Hope Program. Clyde enjoys working with people of all ages and all skill levels in order to grow the game of golf. He is a firm believer in analyzing each player’s ability and making improvements to his or her swing by focusing on the basic fundamentals of grip, posture, club positioning and ball flight laws. Clyde is a student of the game and works to equip each individual with a skillset that will have a positive impact on his or her game by incorporating drills that can be utilized during and after the lesson.
